Anthony Pillay, PhD is an Associate Professor and Principal Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Behavioural Medicine at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the South African Journal of Psychology and his research areas include forensic psychology, professional training, as well as women and children’s mental health.

He received his post-doctoral training in Maternal and Child Health at Harvard University, and he is widely published in academic journals and books around the world.
